REFINISHED Danish MCM Teak Armchairs by Kai Kristiansen model 32
For sale, we have a set of 6 wonderful vintage Danish Mid-Century Modern teak dining armchairs, model 32, designed by Kai Kristiansen and made by Korup Stolefabrik. This model, sometimes called an elbow chair, comes with all the hallmarks of its design – gorgeous curved backrest, unique angles, straight lines, and, like all of Kai Kristiansen's chairs, are very comfortable.
The chairs did not look good when we acquired them; therefore, we dismantled, stripped, sanded, and refinished the solid teak frames with Danish oil. They were then reassembled and glued, and the chairs are now like new. The vintage upholstery is in great condition.
