Classic Mid Century Modern extendable teak dining table made by Vejle Stole Mobelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. Sculpted solid teak pedestal legs maximize seating capacity.
The table (including the leaves) has been stripped, sanded and refinished with Danish oil; it is also very solid and sturdy. The table looks great, just not perfect for our standards since some blemishes remain visible on close inspection, but our price is less than just refinishing would cost for such a table (over $1000)
The table is round without leaf L 47.25" x W 47.25" x H 29.25". The leaves are each 19.75". Extended table is oval 86.75" x 47.25" x H 29.25".
After Danish oil, we applied Osmo Polyx®-Oil – Hardwax-Oil wood finish based on natural vegetable oils and waxes, which is durable and hardwearing and resistant to water, dirt, and common household spills. More info at the link below:
