REFINISHED Custom MCM Walnut Table w 2 Leaves & 6 Chairs, all PERFECT, narrow & compact- great for downtown
This unique custom built in the 1960s set is very compact and will unable downtown dwellers to host dinner parties with an easy. Selling as a set only. It is one of the kind, so just one family can get the set.
The table has been stripped, sanded and refinished to perfection; its top is made of gorgeous walnut wood with amazing grain; the draw leaves feature very different grade and definitely adds to the visual delight.
The table without leaves L 53" x W 31" x H 29". Leaves are 15.25" each. Table with both leaves is 83.5" x 31" x H 29".
The chairs are compact as well, and smaller than usual: L16" x D 16.5" x SH 17.5" x BH 29" (compare dimensions to your old chairs to see if these are a good fit for you).
The chairs are made of beautiful solid walnut and they are sturdy and comfortable. Their frames have been cleaned and polished and are like new. The original upholstery is in great vintage condition, but we can help to reupholster them if you wish in our or your fabric for a nominal fee. In addition, it is worth mentioning that walnut chairs are rather rare; usually what we see is ash wood stained to look walnut.
Please note, that extension mechanism is not a usual one that we see on the most draw leaf tables, and it takes a bit of effort to use it.
